Hi, I’m Amanda, owner and sole groomer behind Marcoo & Co. Mobile Grooming. I’m a Fear-Free and canine CPR certified groomer with a focus on gentle, low-stress care for every dog.
Marcoo & Co. was named and designed for my own dog, Marcoo. Naming my business after her is a personal promise to treat every dog in my care with the same love, patience, and respect I give to her.
I entered the grooming industry in 2020 and immediately knew I’d found work that truly fulfilled me. Early in my career, I noticed how many pets arrived fearful or uncomfortable in traditional grooming environments. That time in my career shaped my goal to provide a calm, one-on-one grooming experience built on compassion, patience, and trust; one that comes right to your doorstep!
As a single-person operation, every appointment is handled personally by me — from start to finish. You’ll always know who’s caring for your pet, and I take pride in forming lasting relationships with both dogs and their people.
My Fear-Free Grooming Philosophy
My grooming approach centers on each dog’s emotional well-being. While “Fear-Free” doesn’t mean every dog will come to love being groomed (some never will), it does mean I’m trained in specific techniques to help reduce fear, anxiety, and stress throughout the grooming process.
My goal is to make each appointment as calm and comfortable as possible — using gentle handling, patience, positive associations, breaks when needed, and adapting the pace to each dog’s individual needs.
Fear-Free grooming is about respecting the dog’s boundaries, paying attention to their body language, and creating an experience where they feel safe, supported, and understood.
Every dog deserves to feel secure in the hands of their groomer, and that philosophy guides everything I do.
